【網(wǎng)格專題】icem-cfd篇

從ansys收購(gòu)fluent后,ansys已經(jīng)決定不再開發(fā)gambit,而將icem作為fluent的御用前處理軟件,從中可以看出icem的重要性。icem劃分的思想跟pointwise類似,也是以實(shí)體為參考,然后將網(wǎng)格映射到實(shí)體之上。但是與pointwise不同的是,在icem中建立的線,塊等不需要與實(shí)體重合,而pointwise必須將connection、domain等建立與實(shí)體之上,簡(jiǎn)單點(diǎn)講,pointwise的網(wǎng)格是依附與實(shí)體之上的,而icem的網(wǎng)格式映射到實(shí)體之上的。這樣的區(qū)別,讓icem分區(qū)的時(shí)候,只要生成一個(gè)一個(gè)規(guī)整的block就行了,另外,這樣做的好處是當(dāng)幾何外形類似的實(shí)體需要?jiǎng)澐志W(wǎng)格時(shí),只要將block映射一下就行了,能節(jié)省不少工作量。
呵呵,做了兩天的教程,發(fā)現(xiàn)真是個(gè)體力活啊。正好發(fā)現(xiàn)有個(gè)現(xiàn)成的icem教程,劃分的實(shí)體跟我前面做例子的實(shí)體差不多,那我就偷個(gè)懶,直接拿來用了。

從上面的教程中我們可以清楚的了解的icem自頂而下的劃分網(wǎng)格思想。當(dāng)然,我們也能了解到icem的操作命令繁雜,確實(shí)讓新手頭疼。呵呵,反正是魚和熊掌不能兼得,就看你怎么權(quán)衡舍棄了。
